As part of the 14th International Danube Festival Ulm/Neu-Ulm 2026, a partnership meeting of the international education network Danube Networkers and other stakeholders from the Danube region took place from 8 to 11 July 2026.
We at ILEU e.V. were delighted to welcome our friends from the Danube countries to Ulm once again. Active members of the Danube Networkers education network and guests from other EUSDR networks participated in the meeting.
The thematic focus was on the exchange of examples of good practice. Participants explored how participation, cooperation and networking across borders and age groups could be strengthened within civil society and how they could work together for a peaceful and united Europe.
The international online platform ViMA Danube – vima-danube.eu – is available in 14 languages and offers numerous opportunities for networking and exchange. It served as an important basis for the entire partnership meeting.
The exchange via ViMA was intended to continue beyond the meeting, helping participants to stay in contact, discuss common topics and work together on future projects.
