The open, multifunctional online platform ViMA Danube (vima-danube.eu) invites people from across the Danube region to network, share interests, and take action together. ViMA Danube is a joint project of ILEU eV and the City of Ulm’s „Digital Agenda,“ supported by the Baden-Württemberg State Ministry. The platform aims to build bridges between Western and Southeastern Europe, facilitate encounters, and strengthen solidarity within Europe.

ViMA Danube is multilingual: In addition to English as a bridge language, 13 other languages are currently available, including German, Romanian, Serbian, Bulgarian, Ukrainian, and many more. This allows people of all ages, regardless of origin or level of education, to easily communicate – even if they don’t speak a common foreign language.

The platform offers various functions:

  • Using a search-offer function to make contact, exchange language or collaborate in partnership,
  • Education and participation in interest and project groups on topics such as culture, environment, digitalization, social engagement and much more,
  • Information and testimonials from the Danube countries that allow you to broaden your horizons.

ViMA Danube thrives on participation: Everyone can contribute, create their own groups, or get involved as a „ViMA Danube Volunteer“ to further develop the platform.

Whether you want to meet people, practice a language, start projects, or simply discover new perspectives from other countries – ViMA Danube is the digital meeting place for openness, diversity, and international engagement. Try it out: www.vima-danube.eu.
