Dear Danube Networkers, dear friends of the Danube,
From 8 to 11 July 2026, the 10th partnership meeting of the Danube Networkers education network took place in Ulm as part of the International Danube Festival Ulm/Neu-Ulm.
Representatives from various areas of civil society, including education, culture, social affairs and the environment, participated from countries across the Danube region.
The theme of the meeting was:
“Democracy needs everyone.”
The focus was on exchanging examples of good practice and exploring how participation, cooperation and networking across borders and age groups could be strengthened within civil society. Participants also discussed how they could work together for a peaceful and united Europe.

Before this event, nine Danube Networkers meetings had been held as part of the International Danube Festival in Ulm/Neu-Ulm. One of the meetings took place digitally in 2020 due to the pandemic.

The main events were held in German and English, with translation assistance available in additional languages.

Ulm is easily accessible by train or via the airports in Memmingen/Munich (with Wizzair/Ryanair from many cities in Southeast Europe), Munich, and Stuttgart.
