DEMOCRACY2LIVE
As part of the Fit for Democracy project, we organized the idea competition “DEMOCRACY2LIVE”.
We were looking for simple, realistic and creative project ideas that make democracy visible in everyday life. The aim was to encourage people to participate, start conversations and show how democratic values can be put into practice in schools, communities, associations or public spaces. Ideas could include discussion rounds, storytelling cafés, participatory activities, games, videos, improvisational theatre or actions in public spaces.
The best ideas received funding of €400 each for their implementation. The projects were documented and will be publicly presented during the international Danube-Networkers Partner Meeting at the International Danube Festival Ulm/Neu-Ulm in July 2026 and published on the Fit4Democracy website.
