As part of the 13th Danube Festival Ulm/Neu-Ulm 2024, a partner meeting of the international education network Danube-Networkers and other Danube stakeholders will take place from 11 to 13 July 2024. We at ILEU e.V. are looking forward to welcoming our friends from the Danube countries again this year. Active members of the Danube-Networkers educational network and guests from other EUSDR networks are invited. The thematic focus will be on the importance, tasks and forms of cooperation between civil society organisations and between citizens in the Danube region and in Europe.
At the symposium „Strengthening Civil Society in the Danube Region for a Common Europe“ on 12 July, participants will discuss in keynote speeches and working groups the question of how a combination of digital cooperation and analogue encounters can be used to establish and further develop stable cross-Danube networks based on European values in various social areas that strengthen the sense of belonging and shared responsibility for Europe.
